Arie goes to daycare

Arielle start daycare this week. I have no picture to show for it but if I did, it would show her crying. She tries to be a big girl and insist that she is not sad at times. This morning Arie held her mother and said good-by and Lori told her that she will be in her heart and that she will always be here for her.

As we got dressed and got in the car she fought a loosing battle against her tears that would not stop no matter how much she wiped them away. After passing many Halloween designed yards she calmed down and found her smile. Looking in the rear view mirror I saw the denim hat that must have made Lori crazy because I insisted she wear it to keep warm. She smiles and says "Mommy is in my heart. She is always home working". I correct her and tell her that Mommy is always in her heart but she only repeats her original statement.

I know that everyone goes through this but it doesn't make it any easier on Arielle or me. Lori will pick her up again this evening. There will be singing and dancing, smiles and hugs. Arielle has to take time to hug everyone good-by. She stays with a house filled with girls.
